President Donald Trump tests positive for covid 19 coronavirus

President Donald Trump announced late Thursday evening that he and his wife, First Lady, Melania Trump, have both tested positive for Covid-19, the Coronavirus.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter shortly before 1 a.m. “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”

Trump was last seen Thursday afternoon returning to the White House after a fundraising trip to New Jersey. Neither expressed feeling ill, however, many have tested positive for the virus prior to showing symptoms.

President Trump will be monitored closely as his age, height, and weight put him high in the “at risk” category for Coronavirus complications.

Staff members have apparently been made aware of the presidents positive Covid test and will most likely be monitored and tested accordingly.
